Pleasure, Possession, and Power

Sometimes, I stumble upon a video while searching for something else entirely, and it’s just too good not to share.  This is one of those times.

There’s a good chance you’ve seen this before.   I had, but it had been years.  It’s Mean Gene Okerlund interviewing Macho Man Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth at the power couple’s mansion.  And it’s awesome.  Macho’s delivery is perfect, and for my money, it’s one of the best promos he’s ever cut.  It’s less insane than most of his backstage interviews, but he doesn’t mortgage his intensity in exchange for an uncharacteristic amount of coherence.  This is how I want to forever remember the Macho Man.
