Ever wonder what it would be like to attempt to pick up girls using only wrestling catch phrases? Me neither. But when I became aware that a video demonstrating such a thing existed, I imagined it would be pretty hilarious. I was correct.

The YouTube comedy troupe Simple Pickup assigns themselves various gimmicks, and then tries to get the phone numbers of attractive ladies whilst using whatever the chosen gimmick is. Their success rate is astounding. According to their Facebook page, they “make videos to show all the guys out there that it doesn’t matter what you look like or even what you say… confidence is all you need.” The end result is delightfully entertaining.
They really run the gamut on catchphrases too, utilizing those of DX, The Rock, Stone Cold, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, John Cena, Edge & Christian, and Bret Hart, among others. There’s even a Spinaroonie. It is glorious.
