On this date in 2003, WWE held the 19th annual WrestleMania at Safeco Field in Seattle, Washington.  In the main event, WWE Champion Kurt Angle defended his title against rival Brock Lesnar.  The history between the two was excellent, the feud leading into the show was excellent, the match was excellent…the ending was not.  During his time in Ohio Valley Wrestling, Lesnar often used a Shooting Star Press as one of his signature maneuvers, which was especially unusual and impressive for a man of his hulking stature.  WrestleMania XIX was the first time he attempted the move in his WWE career, and it didn’t go so well.  The result was one of the scariest moments in WrestleMania history.

Luckily, Brock escaped the botched spot with only a concussion.  Other matches on the card that night included Matt Hardy defending the Cruiserweight Title against Rey Mysterio, Hulk Hogan taking on Vince McMahon, and Triple H facing Booker T for the World Title.  The event also included the third WrestleMania match between The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin, as well as one of my all-time favorite matches, Shawn Michaels vs Chris Jericho.
