A couple of weeks ago, I told you about River of Darkness, a low-budget horror movie starring Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash, Psycho Sid, and Glacier. Today, I want to introduce you to Dark River, an independent film with an eerily similar title that also has a couple of wrestlers leading the cast. This time, Diamond Dallas Page is the star and Hulk Hogan will appear in a supporting role.
Page will play the part of a recovering alcoholic who falls off the wagon one night after moving to a small Midwestern town. He wakes up from a bender to find his neighbors slain and the murder weapon in his possession. My personal hope is that the murder weapons turn out to be his arms, which he used to Diamond Cut his neighbors to death. Anyways, here’s the trailer, if you’re into this kind of thing.
