There’s a reason that Goldust is so commonly referred to as “The Bizarre One.” I was about a big as fan of the character as you’d find during his heyday, and I thoroughly enjoy it every time he gets a mini-push to this day. That being said, he still creeps me out sometimes. Originally modeled to look like an Academy Award, the film obsessed Goldust has groped opponents, gained advantages over them through flirtation, and shattered their dreams. He’s dressed as a giant baby, paraded around WrestleMania in lingerie, and relied on subversive S & M attires to generate heat. He’s even suffered from Tourette’s syndrome on occassion. He’s led a truly bizarre career. And it all started like this.
