Sin Cara will make his highly anticipated debut tonight on Monday Night Raw, and what role he’ll play is anybody’s guess. My speculation is that he’ll just showcase his talent in a semi-quick win over a lower midcard heel, such as Ted DiBiase or Tyson Kidd, and call it a day. The possibility remains, however, that he’ll involve himself in a story line right out of the gate. Post-WrestleMania Raw debuts usually lead to big things.
The rest of tonight’s Raw will feature the fallout from WrestleMania 27. Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock will both be on hand, as will The Miz, who is still WWE Champion. Smackdown talents Alberto Del Rio, Edge, Dolph Ziggler, Rey Mysterio, and Cody Rhodes are all being advertised for tonight’s show as well. Rumor has it we’ll see a WrestleMania rematch or two tonight, possibly of the Punk vs Orton or Mysterio vs Rhodes variety. And hey, maybe tonight will be the night that Ziggler and Morrison get to strut their stuff.
Raw will be just one of four wrestling programs on tonight, as it will be sandwiched between this year’s Hall of Fame ceremony and the return of WWE Tough Enough. The Hall of Fame broadcast is expected to focus on the inductions of Shawn Michaels, Sunny, and the Road Warriors. Over on HDNet, Ring of Honor will broadcast their last episode on the network. The scheduled main event is a 6-man tag team match pitting Davey Richards & The Briscoe Brothers against Roderick Strong & The Kings of Wrestling. As with any Kings of Wrestling match, I suggest you make viewing it a priority.
