As of this writing, there is NOTHING confirmed for tonight’s Raw. As it stands, the show is a blank canvas with no advertised matches, reveals, or confrontations. That being said, there are some things that we can forecast for the event.
It’s likely that we’ll see the fallout of Mason Ryan walking out on the New Nexus last week. While it’s likely that Ryan leaves the group altogether to pursue a singles career, it’s a marginal possibility that he remains loyal to Punk and the two of them turn their backs on the lowercard members of Nexus. Either way, expect a big push for Ryan to kick off tonight. The next WWE Championship feud for John Cena should begin to take shape, and it remains unclear if it will be the former champion The Miz to oppose him next or if it will be a new opponent. R-Truth is a likely choice since John Morrison looks like he’s going to be sidelined for a while. Expect a divas match to be interrupted by Kharma once again, and don’t be surprised if things begin to heat up between Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio. Of course, you can bet that Raw will feature a long and boring segment between Michael Cole and the King. Lastly, I’m interested to see how the rest of Raw’s draft acquisitions settle in on their new show – Kofi Kingston should be starting a United States Title program with somebody soon, while Drew McIntyre has yet to appear since his move from Friday nights.
