After weeks of a teased breakup, therapy sessions, and snide comments, the members of LayCool will finally collide in the ring on Smackdown tonight. Layla put the boots to Michelle McCool following her loss to Eve on Monday Night, and tonight the two ladies will try to settle their score once and for all. The Tag Team Titles will also be on the line tonight when Kane & The Big Show defend their straps against former champions, The Corre.
The rest of Smackdown will showcase the influx of new talent that the show has acquired as a result of the recent draft. The blue brand’s newest high-flyer will step into the ring opposite Raw’s All American American Jack Swagger. Smackdown’s former resident masked competitor Rey Mysterio will be wrestling as well, taking on the World’s Strongest Man Mark Henry. In the main event, Smackdown’s biggest acquisition, Randy Orton, will be teaming with Christian to face Alberto Del Rio and Brodus Clay. If you’re looking for a reason not to tune in tonight, be warned that Michael Cole will be delivering an in-ring speech as part of the show. Also scheduled to appear are Cody Rhodes, Kofi Kingston, Sheamus, and the Great Khali.
