In last week’s edition of Ghastly Gimmicks, we remembered Glacier, WCW’s attempt to cash in on the Mortal Kombat phenomena of the ’90s. I’m a big fan of both Pro Wrestling (obviously) and Mortal Kombat, but that didn’t cloud my judgement – anybody could see that Glacier was awful. What’s not awful, though, is this Mortal Kombat / WWE / old school video game mashup. If you can’t appreciate a theoretical look at how a meeting between Ric Flair and Liu Kang might play out, then sir, you are made of stone.
