Now retired, Lacey was one of the great heels in Shimmer Women Athletes. Most of her heat came from her ring mannerisms and crowd interaction, though, not from her promos. Watching this, it’s easy to see why. Lacey can’t refrain from using outrageous hyperbole in this promo on Nikki Roxx. She refers to her tag team with Rain, the Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew, as the greatest tag team in the world. Perhaps if she replaced “the world” with “Shimmer” she’d have a point, but as it stands, this claim is absolutely preposterous. Come on, Lacey. Get real.
