Sure, Alberto Del Rio might have been pushed too fast. Frequent ProRasslin contributor Frank’s belief that Alberto Del Rio doesn’t deserve to be where he on the card has been well documented, and I’m sure he’s not alone in that sentiment. Even I think there are more than a couple of guys on the roster who deserve his main event spot more. However, back before it was his destiny to win the World Title, WWE did a fine job of hyping his arrival. His introductory vignettes were among the most effective in recent memory, and watching them now that we know the character gives you the sense that the WWE had a really good idea of what they wanted to create with Del Rio from the get-go.
