It’s easy to forget that Road Warrior Hawk spent time as a singles competitor in Extreme Championship Wrestling, but as evidenced by this promo, that was indeed once the case. During his brief stint with the South Philadelphia organization, Hawk feuded with “The Franchise” Shane Douglas. While no massive ECW moment ever came out of the rivalry, it did provide us with this sweet promo, which includes an extra-raspy Hawk admitting how difficult it is to say “sweaty sweat socks.” Now that, my friends, is a rush.
