Tonight’s Impact will be headlined by a one-on-one match between World Champion Sting and the cold-blooded Matt Hardy. Hardy has been on a bit of a role as of late, earning a victory over X Division Champion Kazarian on last week’s Impact. Can Hardy defeat two champions in two weeks, or will the Stinger prove his dominance over Immortal once more?
As a result of Rob Van Dam’s refusal to join Immortal, he will face the muscle of the group tonight when he steps into the ring against Abyss. The Knockouts Tag Team Champions Sarita & Rosita will be in action, taking on the duo of Madison Rayne & Tara. Madison and Tara haven’t exactly been on the same page recently, so it’ll be interesting to see how well they operate as a tag team tonight. Beer Money will defend their tag titles on this week’s installment of Impact, taking on Immortal’s Rob Terry & Murphy. Also on tap for this evening’s show is the coronation of Karen Angle as the Queen of the Mountain by her husband Jeff Jarrett. AJ Styles will also be on hand to confront Bully Ray over his actions a few weeks ago.
