As someone who best remembers Sting for his slient, brooding, vindictive character from the mid to late 90s, sometimes it strikes me as strange when he’s loud and brash on TNA Impact. It’s tough for me to remember that he was a brazen loudmouth long before he was a stoic warrior of justice. When watching vignettes from his early surfer days, it’s easy to see the foundation for his current character, which starkly contrasts the persona he adopted during his war against the nWo. Really, his career is a tale of two Stings.
