1 was definitely awesome!

The Social Media Mania series began when the Rock, Miz and Cena took their war of words to the internet. That feud cumulates this Sunday at Wrestlemania 27! If Monday’s Raw was any indication, we’re in for one crazy match. Compared to the in-ring action on Raw, the social media world has been quite tame. Leading up to ‘Mania, that’s a good thing. Actions speak louder than tweets and one man’s actions on Monday spoke volumes….more after the jump…

Monday’s tweets from the Rock, the Miz and Cena all hyped the collision course they were on in Chicago. While Cena and Rock threatened one another, Miz posted the best tweet of the day reminding us that only one man involved in Raw’s main event showdown would be awesome. Unfortunately for Miz, the awesome one ended up being Cena. In light of his attack on the Rock, you’d think Cena’s Twitter feed would be filled boasts and brags. Nothing of that nature came though. Outside of a single tweet telling fans that Raw was epic, Cena spent all of Tuesday doing his best Kevin Smith impression. Like Smith last year, Cena had an incident with an airline and he took to Twitter to trash them. It appears as though he purchased two seats but SouthWest wouldn’t allow him to occupy both. I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t want to be the guy to tell a man of John Cena’s size what he can’t do.

Since Monday night, the Miz’s twitter account has simply promoted hisĀ appearancesĀ on G4 and Jimmy Kimmel. The only wrestling related tweet in the past 36 hours featured a photo he took live on Raw of the upside down WWE logo with the caption ‘Most must-see Entertainment’. The Rock is the only superstar to directly address the end of Raw. At 3:18AM on Tuesday morning, The Rock promised to kick John Cena’s a** which guarantees the heavily speculated idea that the Rock would interfere in the main event. Pardon the censorship, but it’s a good segway into the Rock’s most recent tweet: ‘yes, I agree w some of you..me saying “sumbitches and candy asses” on RAW isnt PG. But remember..when it’s ROCK RAW..it ain’t ever PG..’ Interesting that the WWE Universe must have gotten on his back about his on-air profanity.

That wraps up the Rock, the Miz and John Cena’s Twitter activity as of Wednesday morning. Seems like the talking is done and the next battle between the 3 will come in the ring in Atlanta, GA this Sunday at Wrestlemania 27!

This Sunday I’ll be attending a Wrestlemania Party here in Philadelphia. I’ll most likely be tweeting about the event, so be sure to follow @IONRyan and @ProRasslin!!
