Okada should totally bring a gun to tonight's Impact.

Tonight’s Impact is certainly light on wrestling, as only four matches are scheduled for the show.  The main event will see Rob Van Dam take on Mr. Anderson for the number one contendership to the World Title.  Sting will serve as the “enforcer,” a role that’s often assigned in wrestling that I’ve never totally understood.  Hardcore Country Mickie James will tangle with Madison Rayne’s crony Tara, and this could be one of the last time’s we see James with a full head of hair.  Matt Morgan will be joining forces with Devon in a tag team match against Hernandez and his homie Esteban, the “fan” who interfered in his match at Victory Road.  Finally, The Pope will go one-on-one with Kato Okada.

Given the light match lineup, I’m fearful of what the rest of Impact might include.  My guess is we’ll get a twenty minute update on how badly injured AJ Styles is, a boring Eric Bischoff promo, and a lot of Hulk Hogan backstage segments.  As long as no one finds a knife pressed against their throat this week, I’ll call it a wash.
