Tonight’s Raw is going to be hosted by this thing to left here. So there’s that. Snooki is the third Jersey Shore cast member to step into the ring, as Angelina and J-Woww have already done so with TNA. It’s a sad trend.
Also on the show, Trish Stratus returns to the ring to wrestle Vickie Guerrero. Should Vickie be able to upset the best female wrestler in the history of the company, she’ll be given a job on Monday Night Raw. Expect anything but a clean match here. Sheamus will put his career on the line against Daniel Bryan’s US Title, and while I’m unsure how this one will play out, I think it will be used as a platform to make a WrestleMania 27 match between these two guys. The Miz and John Cena will surely be on hand to continue their feud, and it’ll be interesting to see how they interact with The Rock seemingly out of the picture for now. As for the next Hall of Fame inductee, WWE.com announced today that Drew Carey will be joining Pete Rose and William “Refrigerator” Perry in the celebrity wing of the Hall, so expect a televised announcement tonight if time allows.
On Ring of Honor’s HDNet show tonight, “The Prodigy” Mike Bennet will meet Kyle O’Reilly in the finals of the Top Prospects tournament. American Wolf Davey Richards will wrestle an exhibition against Tony Kozina, and the Bravado Brothers will enter the ring opposite Bobby Dempsey & Grizzly Redwood. Also on tonight’s show, Prince Nana promises to introduce the world to the new Embassy.
