Will Triple H bury The Deadman, or can the Phenom end The Game?

Triple H and The Undertaker will meet in the first round of our Champion of Champions tournament, designed to determine your favorite champion of the past ten years.

Triple H is easily one of the most successful wrestlers of the 21st century.  The Game is an unbelievable 13-time World Champion, a 5-time Intercontinental Champion, and a 2-time European Champ.  He’s held the WWE Tag Team Titles three times, twice is Shawn Michaels and once with Steve Austin.  He was the winner of the 1997 King of the Ring and the 2002 Royal Rumble.  He’s a Slammy Award winner, a co-founder of one of the most successful stables in wrestling history, and the heir apparent to Vince McMahon as the head honcho of the WWE.  Notable feud partners include Cactus Jack, The Rock, and Sheamus.

The Undertaker’s legacy has spanned generation after generation.  The WWE’s longest running active wrestler, The Dead Man has ran the yard for over twenty years.  He’s a 7-time World Champion, 7-time Tag Team Champion, and 1-time Hardcore Title holder.  He won the 2007 Royal Rumble and has 6 Slammy Awards sitting on his mantle.  The Undertaker’s 18-0 record at WrestleMania is one of the most impressive accomplishments in all of wrestling, and he is the pioneer of many a match type, including the Hell in the Cell, Casket, and Buried Alive matches.  Some of Taker’s most memorable matches include those with his brother Kane, Brock Lesnar, and Batista.

The history between these two sure-fire hall of famers is well documented.  Both men have pinned the other in the past, with their most memorable encounter coming at WrestleMania X7, a match that the Undertaker of course won.  The pair are set to meet again at this years WrestleMania, and the outcome of that match is anybody’s guess.  Be sure to come back Friday to vote for who you think the better champion was!
