Stone Cold Steve Austin will be returning to Raw tonight, and what he has in store for the WWE Universe is anybody’s guess. He’ll surely promote the upcoming Tough Enough, but he’s also tweeted that he’ll be bringing a couple cans of whoop ass with him, so don’t be surprised if we see a Stunner or two.
One thing he WON’T be doing is interacting with The Rock, who won’t be at Raw tonight due to a scheduling conflict with the film he’s shooting. Surprise, surprise, another Raw, another no-show. John Cena, however, has promised to deliver a final “knockout blow” to the People’s Champ, so bank on a lengthy promo. The Miz already tweeted that he is boycotting tonight’s Raw because he hasn’t been getting the recognition he deserves, so Cena might just go uninterrupted. Also on Raw tonight, Michael Cole has promised to announce the referee for his match with Jerry Lawler at WrestleMania. The mystery man has been described as “flamboyant” and “awesome,” and I am at a loss for who it could be. Your speculation and predictions are welcomed in the comments. Triple H, The Undertaker, and Smackdown’s Alberto Del Rio are all scheduled to appear tonight.
Meanwhile, on Ring of Honor’s HDNet show, the World Champion Roderick Strong will take part in a fatal 4-way match as he wrestles Homicide, El Generico, and Jay Briscoe. Also slated for the show are the two semi-final matches in the company’s Top Prospects Tournament, featuring Andy “Right Leg” Ridge against “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett and The House of Truth’s Michael Elgin taking on Kyle O’Reilly.
