Tonight’s Smackdown will feature the contract signing for one of WrestleMania 27’s main events, the World Championship match between Edge and Alberto Del Rio. As with any contract signing, expect things to get physical. Christian hasn’t appeared on television since his return at the Elimination Chamber, and it would certainly be nice to see him get involved here. Edge will have a lot on his plate tonight, because in addition to the contract signing, the Champ will go one-on-one with “The Chosen One” Drew McIntyre.
Other matches scheduled for the show include Michael Cole’s personal trainer Jack Swagger facing JTG and a non-title tag team match pitting Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov against The Corre. In a battle of Smackdown’s resident giants, Kane will square off against The Big Show. Beth Phoenix & Rosa Mendes are slated to meet LayCool in a divas tag match, and it will be interesting to see if Layla and Michelle are finally on the same page. Lastly, The Undertaker is expected make his long-awaited return to Smackdown tonight, so all you dead heads be sure to tune in.
