In my opinion, Mike Mizanin’s transformation from just another mid-carder to future main event stud took place during this interview. Masterfully weaving reports of legitimate backstage heat with his arrogant heel persona, Miz delievered a character defining promo on the January 11, 2010 edition of Monday Night Raw. His time as US Champion brought a credibility to the belt that it lacked in the months prior to his reign and groomed him for the WWE Title that he holds today.
